Yonatan Saar, Head Teacher (Tantra, Pranayam, Mudra)
Yonatan Saar was born in Israel in 1975 and has been practicing spirituality for the last 18 years. Through his travels, Yonatan was exposed to Eastern spiritual practices and has been a serious yoga and meditation practitioner since 1999.
For the last 12 years, he has been living in India, dedicating his time to intensive practice and teaching of yoga, tantra and meditation.
Yonatan has trained in various schools of Yoga and Tantra, including Sivananda, Iyengar, and the Agama Yoga School. For the last 10 years, he has been practicing and teaching Left and Right Hand Tantra and Kundalini Yoga under his guru, Master Tada Yoshi. Additionally, he has practiced meditation in Thai monasteries and Indian ashrams- primarily Amritapuri (Amma) in Kerala and Ramana Maharshi influenced ashrams in Tiruvannamulai, Tamil Nadu. His understanding of the chakras as our main operating system combined with a rare sensitivity towards, and awareness of, his students’ energies sends practitioners into great depths with their practice.
Yonatan’s teachings are based on an ongoing study of a variety of ancient scriptures and, most importantly, intensive self-study, involving long -term dedicated personal practice resulting in powerful ongoing transformations and developments. He is serious and direct, caring and compassionate and light-hearted with a quirky sense of humour, depending on what the moment calls for. His patience, wisdom, kindness and push forward can transform even an already established Yoga and meditation practice.
Yonatan has taught Yoga and Tantra in India, Israel, Turkey and Europe, and is the head teacher of the Ayur Tantra Yoga program.
